As brothers, we are proud to introduce to you, the amazing women to whom we dedicate our success.
From the respect of our Italian heritage which has been passed down to our present generation to the admirable art of cooking that was gifted upon her,
Our Mother, Luciana. |

Luciana was born in Detroit, Michigan. She was the Daughter of Girolamo Stabile, from Tropani & Vincenza Sciortino from Palermo, Italy. As a family, she was one of six siblings. She lost her father at the age of 11, leaving her mother widowed for 10 yrs.At age 18, she fell in love and married our Dad, Sam. They were the proud parents of 7 children. The suburban family home was an 800 square feet bungalow. Mom’s days were filled with household chores and Italian cooking. As passed through her generations, she was the greatest cook in the world. Everything she prepared became a masterpiece. We were always included when she was cooking whether we handed her the spices, stirred the sauce, formed the meatballs or having her guide us through the process of preparing the Italian dressing. She was adamant about her children learning to cook and to also be proud serving it.You always knew you were home when you walked in the door and could smell the aroma of something she was cooking. Our family gatherings usually consisted of a great home-cooked meal served with an antipasta salad, Italian bread & the cannolis. There was always the sound of laughter, Italian music, and someone yelling in the background. Our Mother felt that her life was at its best when shared with those she loved.
Jim and Matt, dedicate LUCIANA’S, a taste of Italy in her memory; A known place where you can expect good Italian food, the presence of family and friends,
where music and laughter fills the room.(All Yelling Prohibited) Mom, In honor of you, Salute! |
